Get ready to see "Heartstopper" star Joe Locke in a whole knew role than what most of his fans are used to seeing him in. Locke is set to have a pivotal role in the upcoming Disney Plus series "Agatha All Along."

As reported by Rolling Stone UK, Locke joins the "WandaVision" spin-off as Teen, a role he says will be "darker" and "scarier" than what he has usually played.

"It's a dark comedy about witches" Locke told Stone. "We gather a coven and a very unlikely group of women and me–which is my life in general–get on the Witches' Road. Then magic, fun, and mystery prevails."

"Agatha All Along" will star Kathryn Hahn in the titular role as Agatha. The series will follow the character's work as a detective in the town of Westview, hoping to break free from the spell cast by Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olson) that has trapped her there and regain her powers.

Locke's character will reportedly help her on the way to breaking free from Westview.

And just like his "Heartstopper" role, Locke says his character in the "Agatha" series also identifies as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. According to Locke, his sexuality is but one "part of the character" that is portrayed as "very truthful and very positive" in the show.

"It's a great start for a new journey within the MCU of exploring different types of characters that aren't like Iron Man or Captain America. It's a new type of superhero, which I think is exciting," said Locke.

Rounding out the "Agatha All Along's" witchy cast includes Patti LuPone, Aubrey Plaza, Debra Jo Rupp, and Sasheer Zamata. Look for the show to hit Disney Plus with a double-episode premiere on Sept. 18, 2024.
