Wendi McLendon-Covey Headlines Natl. Coming Out Day Benefit for The Trevor Project

On Friday, October 6 at Los Angeles' MiMoDa Studio, comedy goddess�Wendi McLendon-Covey�headlines�Don't Tell My Mother!�"Coming Out Show" benefiting The Trevor Project.

This special night celebrates our six-year anniversary, as well as National Coming Out Day as McLendon-Covey of "The Goldbergs," "Reno 911!," and "Bridesmaids" fame,�tells a totally true story she'd never want her mom to know.

A hundred percent of proceeds will be donated�to�The Trevor Project,�the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ young people ages 13-24.�Joining McLendon-Covey are�"Transparent"�star�Alexandra Billings, "Survivor's"�Zeke Smith, comic�Jen Kober of "The Mindy Project,"�Nikki Levy�and music by�Abby and The Myth.

This event is the brainchild of TV executive Nikki Levy ("Frost/Nixon").�Don't Tell My Mother!�is a critically-acclaimed storytelling phenomenon where comics, actors, and performers share true stories they'd never want their mothers to know. Using her development background,�Levy works with talent to curate their pieces, delivering an evening that's become a go-to for industry executives.

Featuring a new cast every month, past performers include�Kate McKinnon,�Tracee Ellis Ross,�Lance Bass,�Teri Hatcher,�Fortune Feimster�("Chelsea Lately"),�Amy Landecker�("Transparent")�&�Allison Tolman�("Fargo").
