Not long after "Schitt's Creek" swept the Emmy Awards Sunday night, Netflix announced when the the queer comedy's sixth and final season will hit the streamer.

The season already aired on Pop TV earlier this year but Netflix has the streaming rights to the show. Season 1 through 5 are currently on Netflix and the company said fans can enjoy Season 6 on Oct. 7.

The announcement comes hours after the show won an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy. Its four main leads — Catherine O'Hara, Eugene Levy, Dan Levy and Annie Murphy — each won an Emmy award in their respective categories. The show also picked up wins for Outstanding Direction in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series.
