RuPaul won his fifth consecutive Emmy award for Outstanding Host in a Reality Competition Series Sunday for his part on "RuPaul's Drag Race," becoming the most-decorated person for the category since it was created 13 years ago, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Ru responded to the win with a video message that was shared on Twitter. In the clip, Ru gets political, urging fans to vote in the 2020 presidential election and also honoring the late Chi Chi DeVayne, who died last month.

"Every time I bat my flash eyelashes, I'm making a political statement," said Ru, who deleted his Twitter account earlier this year. "Love. Love for our LGBT brothers and sisters, love for Black queens and brown queens, and love for the United States of America, where a little gay boy with nothing more than a pussycat wig and a dream can build an international platform that celebrates sweet, sensitive souls everywhere."

Ru then called on fans to vote on Nov. 3 before honoring DeVayne.

"The time has come...for you to vote for your life!" Ru chanted, mimicking his "Drag Race" catchphrase.

"I'd like to dedicate this Emmy to one of my girls: Chi Chi DeVayne. May you rest in power, and perfection. Thank you, and good night."
