Watch: Pat Robertson Says LGBTQ People Have 'Infiltrated' Society, 'Dominating' Straight People
On his "The 700 Club" show, televangelist Pat Robertson continued to make his outrageous anti-gay claims, this time saying the media, the entertainment industry, and academia have been "infiltrated" by LGBTQ people, who are "dominating" heterosexuals, Right Wing Watch reports.
"We have given the ground to a small minority," Robertson said on his show. "You figure, lesbians, one percent of the population; homosexuals, two percent of the population. That's all. That's statistically all.
"But they have dominated-dominated the media, they've dominated the cultural shift and they have infiltrated the major universities," he continued. "It's just unbelievable what's being done. A tiny, tiny minority makes a huge difference. The majority-it's time it wakes up."
For his "solution," Robertson suggests making a movie with Kevin Sorbo, the right-wing actor and Trump supporter best known for playing Hercules on the TV series "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" in the 90s. More recently, he starred in the Christian film "God's Not Dead."
"Kevin Sorbo brought me some scripts so I just finished reading some scripts," Robertson said. "I got one that I think would make a pretty good movie. I'm going to talk to Kevin to see what he thinks. We gotta make some more movies."
