In what's become a daily occurrence, President Donald Trump greeted the day Thursday by firing off angry tweets. Actor and LGBT activist George Takei wasted no time with a hilarious response to the Tweeter-in-Chief.

As reported by AP, President Trump is warning "low-life leakers" of classified information that they will be caught.

In a pair of tweets Thursday, Trump says, "Leaking, and even illegal classified leaking, has been a big problem in Washington for years. Failing @nytimes (and others) must apologize!"

Trump writes, "the spotlight has finally been put on the low-life leakers! They will be caught!"

True to form for the president, who, according to The Daily Beast brags about sleeping only 90 minutes to four hours each night, Trump's tweets were written a little after 4:00 a.m..

George Takei's first tweet of the day at the more reasonable hour of 5:12 a.m..

Referencing the now infamous #WaterSportsGate Russian dossier that alleged Trump's hired Russian prostitutes to put on a "urination show" in a Moscow hotel, Takei responded to Trump's twitter assault on the "leakers."

As reported by AP, Trump's national security adviser, retired Gen. Michael Flynn, resigned at Trump's urging this week after a series of reports revealed Flynn held addressed the issue of sanctions with a Russian diplomat before Trump was in office.

On Wednesday, Trump said it was "really a sad thing that he was treated so badly."

He tweeted Wednesday that "classified information is illegally given out by 'intelligence' like candy. Very un-American!"
